Arc is a 250-seat state-of-the-art screening venue built with careful attention to heritage values and situated within the art deco Northern Exhibition Gallery of the NFSA’s Acton headquarters. Arc features customised archival-quality projection equipment, brilliant audio and a special pre-screening light and sound show that makes the Arc experience unique.

Getting there

The NFSA is situated in the heart of Canberra on McCoy Circuit, Acton, between the shores of Lake Burley Griffin and the elegant grounds of the Australian National University. Just a 10 minute walk from the city and state bus interchanges. You are most welcome to call in, perhaps on your way from the National Gallery of Australia, National Portrait Gallery, Questacon or the National Library of Australia to the National Museum of Australia. 

Public Transport

On the number 3: Alight at Edinburgh Ave stop and proceed 600m to entrance on McCoy circuit.

For disabled access, alight at Liversidge St stop and proceed 400m to entrance on Liversidge St. 

On the number 81: Alight at Edinburgh Ave stop and proceed 600m to entrance on McCoy circuit.

Parking

There is dedicated visitor paid parking on the premises between McCoy Circuit and Ellery Cresent. There is also limited free parking surrounding the building on Liversidge Street.
